BILINGUAL COPYWRITER
The Colibri Collective is looking for a bilingual, dynamic copywriter who can take our award-winning team to the next level. The ideal candidate will create, plan, and integrate their vision to elevate the communications department.

As the Bilingual Copywriter, you'll be instrumental in developing purposeful Spanish content for our clients. Leveraging your communication prowess and strategic acumen, you'll ensure that our clients effectively communicate their messages while maintaining cultural sensitivity and resonating with communities nationwide. RESPONSIBILITIES
Spanish Language Responsibilities:

A proven understanding of Latino intricacies and cultural nuances.

Transcreate ideas into copy and consistent messaging.

Support the design team to assist in creating Spanish language campaigns from inception.

Ability to thoroughly review and proofread all Spanish language content.

Work experience marketing to the U.S. Latino population is required.

Write culturally relevant content and messaging that resonates with different Latino audiences.
Internal Communication:

Foster effective internal communication within the agency, ensuring all employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with the agency's mission and values.
Content Creation:

Produce compelling and engaging written content for various materials. This includes graphics, website copy, blog posts, social media content, newsletters, and press releases.

Ensure content is engaging, on-brand, and relevant to the agency's target audience.

Translate or transcreate content from English to Spanish.

Write TV and Radio scripts that authentically connect with the different Latino segments.
Audience Research:

Conduct thorough research on client industries and target audiences.

Inform content strategy to ensure messaging resonates with the intended audience.
Brand Management:

Protect and enhance the agency's brand image by maintaining brand guidelines and ensuring consistent messaging across all communication channels.

Monitor online and offline brand mentions and sentiment.
Editing and Proofreading:

Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Ensure grammar, punctuation, and spelling standards are met with each project.
Project Management:

Develop and manage the communication hours accordingly for each project.

Assign projects to respective team members.

Reconcile project hours and manage them effectively to ensure resource allocation and cost-efficiency align with our campaign's strategic objectives.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines.

Maintain high-quality standards and attention to detail.
Stay Updated:

Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Continually improve skills and stay competitive in the field.
QUALIFICATIONS

Fluency and exceptional writing skills in both English and Spanish.

A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field is often required.

4-6 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field.

Ability to strategize and align communication strategies with overall organizational goals.

Proficiency in leveraging digital and social media platforms for communication purposes.

Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new communication strategies.

Use data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies.

Adjust strategies based on performance metrics and feedback.

Collaborate with other departments and leaders within the organization.

Awareness of political and cultural sensitivities that may impact communications.

Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.

Ensure communications align with legal standards and ethical guidelines.
COMPENSATION
$59,000-$64,000 based on experience + bonus based on performance

Monday to Friday.
Must be able to work on site. Remote work is not available for this position.
